Our company resides in Finland, Lapland. More precise in Inari region- in Lemmenjoki. We are a Saami reindeerherder family and during the summer we organize unforgettable boat trips to Finland's biggest national park, here in Lemmenjoki. In our trips you will experience the true spirit of wilderness, hear saami traditional yoik, stories of reindeerherding and saami culture. In Kaija Paltto`s feltart studio you will get to know the secrets of feltmaking and visit art exhibition.
We organize 4 hour riverboat trips to Ravadas falls(15km) for individual customers every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.The trips are very easy to book, because minimum is 2 persons. We offer optionally our own special reindeer soup or vegeterian meal.
For groups we arrange boattrips to ravadas or gold panning trips and feltmaking courses in feltart studio.
Group size is max. 60 persons.
In winter, we have Saami culture programmes and optionally arrange trips to the national park. Our location for accomodation is very unique of its quiet and peaceful surroundings middle in the nature. From travellers budget to luxurious accomodation available around year.

What we offer

Our speciality is that we take people s our guests and share the knowledge about our expertise on reindeer herding and the life around it. All this is wrapped up around a boat trip deep into Lemmenjoki National Park, where people can relax and enjoy the nature while eating reindeer soup (veg. optional). After the trip, we go see our reindeer where people can touch and feed them. Felt art studio is the starting place for our trips, so for those who are interested about felt making, it is easy to combine feltmaking and riverboat trips. Our Company is a family business and visitors get to know to nowaday life of a reindeer herder. For the winter, for individuals, special trips to see the reindeer herd in the mountains.

What we are looking for

People who are looking for a outdoor experience, 3,5 hours to 6 hours day trip with food and services in the nature. Our spoken languages: Saami, Finnish, English, Swedish. Group sizes can be from 2 to 60 and time of the trips are adjustable.
