Program services

Our company is located in the heart of Inari-Saariselkä religion, in Ivalo. Ivalo Safaris is small family owned company, foundet in 2008.

Our specialty is the famous Lake Inari. We offer following:

- Ice Fishing safaris
We have a special place for Ice Fishing, and with us most of the customers will catch fish.
In our fishing camp there is a warm traditional kota (teepee) and eco-toilet.

- Aurora Hunting safaris
In our safaris customers gets a great experience, even if they don't see the Northern Lights.
Sleigh ride in the silent wildernes and delicious dinner in our Aurora Island will give customers great memories.

- Overnight safaris for small groups in our Island in Lake Inari
We have 3 cottages, sauna and Kota in the middle of the lake.

We offer pick up service from Saariselkä, Kakslauttanen, Ivalo and Inari. Thermal clothes and shoes are providet, possibility for professional photograph. We serve both groups and individuals.

What we offer

Our main specialty is Ice Fishing and Aurora Hunting in great Lake Inari.
We offer transport, thermal clothing and dinner / lunch in our activities.

Markku the other owner of the company is a professional fisherman in third generation in Lake Inari.
Our customers values that we are local people, our guides are mainly local reindeer owners or fishermans.
Customers gets a great change to talk about local life by a campfire.

We have also a Island in the lake where we can accommodate small groups with activities.
